Simple as~ budget build

Hey fellas!

So, a friend asked me to build a 600€ machine for gaming.
My first thoughts were ''ohhh this ain't gonna be a good gaming system, he's gonna have to up the € to get a proper gaming rig''. But he requested me to give it all I got with this amount of money and build it for him. At least I had the option, or rather, enough money, to give it a color scheme! Thank god for that!
Of course we went for GPU power instead of OS speed. Obviously it's going to be missing an SSD, which, in my opinion, this system is begging for!
So, with a facepalm, I went to the shops and grabbed the following components:

i3 3220 w/ stock cooler
MSI Z77MA-G45
Gigabyte GTX650Ti OC
Kingston HyperX Blu 4GB 1600MHz cl9
WD Green 500GB
SEASONIC GSeries 360W 80+ Gold
CHIEFTEC LT-01B (mini tower)
A CD/DVDRom drive (he's a young fellow, so he wants it)

This was a total of 598€, smackbang under the budget deadline.
I always take pics of the components while I'm building it so here are some:

Here are all the components ready for unboxing and building!

I honestly didn't think the MSI mobo would look this good!

Tight fit! The mobo looks great! The BIOS is pretty straight forward too... I wasn't happy to see only 2 SATA cables though!

Next two shots were very lucky. I'm still asking myself, how did they turn out so good!

The kingston ram is sleek!

Next in line was the GPU. I thought the Gigabyte GTX650Ti OC was a flimsy piece of plastic, but it's not! The PCB is very strong, the cooler and the fins are very thick and beefy, the fan and the shroud aren't so fragile... I thought the plastic is going to break in my hands, but it was quite hard! So a + on that!

Some might be complaining over the blue PCB, I'm not. It goes perfectly with the whole build! =]
While gaming, this thing reaches 60°C with the fan spinning at ~60%, it's not that loud but you can hear a hum. I could hear some coil whine though. In idle, this thing is very quiet!
It's a beastie for the amount of money. I know the BOOST is much better, but the price here is huge. So I was forced to grab this, and I'm not disappointed! I noticed microstutter in Crysis, but you can't expect much from an i3, 4GB of ram and a 150€ GPU!

So that's it for unboxing. I think everything else isn't so important to post a picture of it here.

So. Now they need to come together!

This, for 600€, it blew my mind. I didn't expect it to turn out so good. The performance isn't that bad either... It's EXTREMELY missing an SSD, this would really shine with one!
It pulls ~34w when in idle, everything stock. When I played Crysis it pulled roughly 120w, so the PSU isn't even breaking a sweat. It could easily do SLI, but for the dude, there's no need for that. He's going to be extremely happy with this, I hope. About the cables, I gave it everything I got with the amount of space I had.

So, I think this is it for this one. I hope this gives you a better look at, what you can get with the amount of money you have.

I also made a 'short' video of the unboxing and final system!

Madness out!

Thanks everyone!
I made another 'short' video of the system in action, lots of fun xD

I really searched through a lot of hardware so I could make it small/quiet/efficient/a little esthetic/powerful for the money/useful for the kid/all components matching, color and compatibility wise! when you put all the factors in, it's not that easy.
You know, when people stuff everything they can find for a budget they have, and half of the stuff isn't even compatible, not to mention the looks. I don't approve.
