Hi,

Has anyone used this site?

In my quest to find a reasonable priced i7 in the UK i stumbled across this site.

CPU i7 rated up to 4.7
Delidded
and shipped = £319

Or

CPU i5 rated at 4.9
Delidded
and shipped = £325

Thanks to the £ vs $ this is cheaper then any in stock UK CPU i7 I can find. But about £100 more for the i5 but deliding is included in the price.

Or do i continue to wait it out for the price to fall again here?

Them so called good cpus could be that they had to have high volts on them plus your parts maybe not as good as theres and so on I would take them with a pinch of salt tbh mate, most chips these day will clock well ive not had a bad one yet.

Its more out of desperation seeing my new gear sat here going unused. Just missing the CPU but everywhere is out of stock or they have bumped the price right up. Been checking daily and seems so many shops are waiting for stock, then there drop in price again as they all try to sell them. Under £300 is my aim.

Though cant find a bad word against the company.

Im waiting on the 6600k/6700k dropping in price some shops are just taking the mick at the moment and some are just over £300 odd for the 6700k.
You do know that a stock cpu could clock to their speeds with no problem at all,my old 4820k ran at 4.5ghz from day one with 1.3v I could have got more out of it but for gaming on my rig it was fast enough for me.

It's tested with their system too so you most likely have other variables at play. Also their testing method is not mentioned: did they just boot it or managed to get a system fully stabilised with those clocks&voltages?
If it were me I'd wait for stores to stock them and play around with the clocks yourself.

This is for a 6700k@4.7ghz
Passed the ROG RealBench stress test for one hour with these settings:

47x CPU Multiplier
1.408V CPU VCORE (Or less)
Am I being picky or is it that:
a) not long enough for a truely stable OC
b)a load of volts?

Both imo, a stable clock should be tested for at least 24hours. It can still bsod after few hours during stresstesting and 1.4V is hella lot. Don't know if the new cpus handle these high volts better but I don't think they do. 1.35V is the absolute max and I'd go lower for a 24/7 clock for sure
