Sidewinder has limited stock of 220CFM Deltas in!

no error codes, only the red led in the furthest corner(pci side) is on.

and yea i get those other 2 orange leds.

funny enough i was just messing with it for about an hour going back and forth from my new g.skill to the 512mb of valueselect and ressetting the bios

i managed to get it to post with the value,so i shut it off after it got to the xp logo with that colored bar going along and now it just gets stuck on the lanparty nf4 logo no matter what ram is in and however many times i reset the bios:eh:

cheers.

its beeps, all the right leds come on,ive reset the bios for 10mins,i am running out of ideas lads, can anyone help me?

this is really depressing:eyes:

If it was me, i'd do the following:

- Take out any non-essentials (hard disks, dvd, floppy, 1 stick of mem, pci cards, fans)

- Give the motherboard a thorough look over. Check for bent/fried components

- Remove/Reseat CPU, cards, memory.

- Try with another PSU (if you have one)

- Leave the battery out for 24hrs

What was the problem lads?

He wasnt resetting his cmos properly, so I told him to just take the battery out, unplug his pc and press the on off switch on his pc to drain all power. Then leave his battery out for a minute or so and then stick it in and see what happens. Bingo, it worked :D

Nothing like helping out N00bs in need :rollingla

Cheers Lads.

Reffering back to the word n00b :banghead:

 Only joking mate, atleast your back so I can pwn your ass :yumyum:

Gratz on getting it working again! I've had to pull the battery on my DFI's a few times to get them to correctly reset. Should have mentioned that :p

Having to pull the battery on DFI mobos seems to be a common problem. That is why I have wired up a set of 2 switches on the side of my case. One that switches the jumper and the other that disconnects the battery. Makes it easy to do without even popping the case open :)

cool twisted:)

i dont mind opening her up every once in a while, gives me a chance to inspect my baby:p plus i dont even put the thumb screws in the window side:D (easy acess ftw!)

cheers.
