SickleFlow 120 2000 RPM Red LED

Is there anyway(s) I can run SickleFlow 120 2000 RPM Red LED fans lower than 1100rpms (50%) using Msi h97 fan connectors?

I have two in my system and the stock 4pin fan that comes with the 212evo cpu cooler running at 745rpm (25%) using the board fan controller.
For me the pc is too loud even though its not very loud

The reason your 4pin fan can run that slow is because it is a PWM fan.

The Sickleflow is a 3pin system that cannot be PWM controlled and therefore has no real way of letting it run below 40% (5 volt). Just because the tools for this don't really exist, and even if they did - your fan might require a minimum voltage of 5v to even start up.

Sickleflows just won't be quiet though. Never have been, never will. Honestly, I suggest you swap out your fan. Bitfenix has the Spectre line up with a whooooole bunch of LED colours if you want cheap, quiet LED fans.

You can quiet the Sickleflows down with a fan controller, but it has to be a decent one, one with full 0-100% range, not the crappy ones that only go down to 40%. I had mine running nice and quiet with an old Sunbeam fan controller (30W x 3, best $10 I ever spent).

Okay, but i think Feronix suggestion is better but I'll look at the best option when I have a few extra buck

I'm sure if you do a quick Google for a rheosmart type fan controller ( like the Sunbeam ) you'll find a bargain, they do some kind of magic where the controller plugs into the motherboard and then kind of turns 3 pin into 4 pin fans ( there is a whole lot more to it than that, that is the simple explanation ) http://www.sunbeamtech.com/PRODUCTS/Rheosmart/6.html
