should i pull the trigger

If it will fit in your rig then yes, But the main question is, Will you see any performance increase from it ?
If no, Then don't buy it.

well i plan on learning to edit videos so the ram would get used, an i would sell my current ram. the ssd would only get used for a couple of games thats all

For the SSD, definitely! For the RAM, no point.

I was amazed when I made the jump to an SSD earlier this year, really quick boot times and all my applications launching instantly. This is even despite the fact my SSD is a relatively low-end one (Samsung 840 250GB ).

i can only go up to 1866mhz, due to mu cpu an mobo. an the extra £15-$20 cant really be justified for that really don't you think

idk if verbatim is any good, i had an external HDD of them and it broke pretty quickly, but i had some part in that as well. those samsung evo drives are rather cheap, i'd check some reviews to see if the verbatim drives can outperform them, max read/write isn't everything

omg!!! why cant you blokes type what it is so we dont have to go clicking endless links I mean how hard would it be to do this???? My Thread

or this Corsair Vengeance Pro 8GB kit 1600MHZ
