Hi guys i have the cm storm trooper and was wondering if i changed out my stock 120mm fans in the front and 140mm fan in the back would make any difference if i switched them out for the corsair af 120/140 quiet edition and i also have a h100 and have 2 120mm coolermaster silent fans and was wondering would the corsair sp 120mm quiet edition make any improvement or keep the same temps but less noise

Corsair fans are pretty good, but the silent edition do not move any air. I understand it supposed to be silent, but it was pulling less air than my stock Midi fans.

Do you have any specific feature you want on the fans?

Do you want it to be completely silent? Have any LEDs? A specific price range?

i want them to be mainly quieter than my current fans and move the same amount if not more i was wondering about the performance edition but idk how much louder they would be compared to the stock fans, price uhm like however much corsair priced for there fans for 2 which is 2 for $30 i believe i wouldn't mind its just i would get the noctua but there so pricey i really don't care about LEDs i just want it to be as quiet and still put out a decent amount if thats possible

SP120 are quiet, and they good for the radiators, I currently using 3 of them on my rad as I'm sleeving my GT A15. And I have to say that they keep temps low, and still maintain quiet. As far as for AF, don't know anything as I never used them.
Also I found SP120 to make little buzzing noise, which is irritating, but you can only really hear it when you move your ear closer to the fan.
But overall corsair fans are good quality product that is worth checking.

I've used the AF120 Quiet Edition fans and was very unimpressed. Even at 100% they just didn't move any air, they were quiet though

Unless you're willing to take a significant hit in air flow I'd stay away from the AF120 QE.

I like CORSAIR Fans, best looking fans on market...
But my favorite fan is Gentle Typhoon and I see on frozencpu new AP-45 for 15$.
He is only little louder than AP-15 but same speed like CORSAIR SP120 High Performance Edition...
Look this very carefull Gentle rules and HE DESERVE BEST FAN EVER MADE, GOLD AWARD, DIAMOND AWARD, fng KRYPTONITE AWARD for everything except color and look.

When I bought fan AP-15 I ask yourself Why this fan spin only on 1850RPM, this can on 2000-2200???

corsair fans should increase the air flow, maybe not a noticeable diffrence in temps but defiantly a difference in noise. what about getting rubber grommets too?

if you have access to switech, look into the helix 120 and 140.. evil undervolting
fans, quieter than SP/AF fans @ 12v and impressive air flow. no gimmickie noises
from undervolting, but dunna know about fan controllers..
