If you were going to build said system without the case and loop you'd be looking at around £1600 give or take.. So I don't know, it's up to you.

Have you ever had a water cooling loop before? You know the maintenance involved? You'll have to spend money on it. Whether it's to replace some tubings or coolant? Really just up to you

Decent coolant as in the non fancy rubbish lasts ages. Think about an AIO, maintenance free some with 5yr warranty.

Mine have been running since last fall and I've not had to touch either.

Still have to take care of it. And this is assuming the guy who built the loop did it right and flushed everything out and made sure everything was cleand and good to go before putting it together.

To be fair it looks like he knows what he was doing.

Never know. Always room for error. That fact is the OP needs to understand there is maintenance involved and he will end up spending money on it. Whether it's replacing tubing or coolant or buyinga new GPU/block it will come back to the fact it all depends on how comfortable he is with working with water

I don't mine working with water. how much would the maintenance cost be

The only time maintainance will come into play is when it comes to upgrading. But I think the most important question to ask is where is the drain port in that loop.

No drain port = no purchase for me. If it came to draining that loop to upgrade or replace something its going to get messy, with spillage that could spread and damage hardware if unlucky.

A litre of coolant is £10-£13. I use XSPC EC6. It only gets difficult/complicated if you want to upgrade the hardware. Board and CPU should last you years but the GPU will be an issue when you want to swap it out. Most loops need 1l or less, but with the two res you may need to put more in.

Do you know the guy personally? or could ask him to do it for you if and when the need arises?

These days fittings are very good. The Orings should last years, so providing you are not a serial upgrader then it shouldn't be too much of an issue. But as NBD says, make sure there is a way to drain it easily in case you have to go nuclear. I don't have a drain plug on either of mine, but I have designed them so that I can simply remove the GPU, put it over a bucket and then drain from there.

I don't know the guy personally, I think I should be ok doing it myself, the only thing that I might struggle with is bending the pipe. There a drain valve on the pump.

Make sure that you know exactly what coolant he is using. Mixing them is about as bad as crossing the streams in Ghostbusters.

Buy some coolant and top up as needed.

OP ask the seller if he has made a build log on a forum somewhere and go from there. It looks very well made but then you would know exactly what parts he used for the custom loop. if there were ever problems in the future.

Hey fella, did you grab this in the end?

No, the reason is that I want to build a computer inside a desk with a colour scheme of white and green when I move out with should be in two years and would not have a uses for this one or the most of the parts because of the colour scheme.
