PV was right on target with his waterblock recommendation. Brass or Acetal is just a matter of personal preference, I suppose, I would pick brass.

As far as a waterblock that cools the GPU and RAM is concerned, I would strongly advise against purchasing that waterblock because:

  1. It kills the flow in your watercooling loop severely
  2. It's three times the price of a waterblock that soley cools the GPU

PV: Believe it or not, I would not recommend all Dandgerden parts. When I purchased my watercooling kit I did not know as much as I do know. Dangerden makes great stuff, don't get me wrong but knowing what I know now, I might have gotten a little more for my money with a couple of non-dangerden parts.

No, I totally agree RollerCam540, its amazing how much more you learn by experiencing it. After having a look again I have come up with some changes to the shopping list. What say I show you first before I post and you can guide me from there, as I have yet to purchase all the gear and install it. You da man :D I was looking at some polarflo and Asetek cooling components.

This is VERY true... I know a lot of people that don't even have watercooled systems that swear up and down that everything that Danger Den makes is the best, most commonly there CPU blocks... Which in reality perform more poorly than some of the cheapest kit blocks on the market. I pieced my system together after a lot of in depth research as to what was going to fit my needs best.

Before I built this system I was dead set on getting the NV68 waterblock for my vid card until I started reading reviews from people who owned them, all I kept hearing was how poorly it cooled and how it doesnt make proper contact with the ram IC's on a lot of different video cards... This is what made me choose the Maze 4 and a set of copper OCZ BGA ramsinks which get the job done perfectly!

Guild looking great. Helping a great deal on planing my setup. But just one question. Does anyone know a good website for pc components thats based in the uk. any suggestions greatful
