This was my first version of the setup using the XSPC x2o pump/reservoir combo and i didnt like the temps so i switched to the swiftech 655 and the results were quiet a bit better but i used the mayhems aurora for a fairly complicated loop so right now temps can be a bit better but will suffice for now.

The block already comes with all thermal pads preinstalled so all you have do is is apply thermal paste and assemble

Leak Testing

At first i had no leaks but after moving some stuff around i had a big leak under the reservoir. Danger Den res will not fit 2 3/4 od compression fittings so i had to use barbs with clips. After moving my rad a little one came undone and water was spraying pretty good :/ Good thing it was at the bottom and i stopped it quickly.

Also i dont know what it is but the tubing looks a but cloudy but the Mayhems Aurora looks way too awesome in the res!!

Pics dont really do justice though this stuff looks so much better in person!

Nice however, I would have had the top rads barbs the other way so that you the tubing was neater.

Is that mayhems just in there for a lan? or show for a short amount of time.

Aurora is "NOT" made for use in a home system. It has been developed for show System's (modding) and Photo work. If looking for a fluid for a Home system / Gaming system please use Mayhems X1 or Mayhems Pastel range of fluids there are fully tested and working in any kind of loop.

You should put white LED strips in. They'll bring out the colour of the coolant and parts of the PC without just saturating the rig red

It's there for a short time but i did talk to few people than run more complex loops than me and they said it runs just fine. I will change to pastel or chameleon soon though. As far as rad it might seem like i have a lot to work with but the room is so limited with 650d as it especially with a 360 and 240 rad inside. Eventually i'm gonna make it a 2 loop set up and i will prob have to put the 360 outside or just get a 800d. For now i was thinknig of flipping the res upside down and have the tube from cpu going on top of the res so i dont have to have that long tube by gpu. i didnt think of that at first for some reason

No need for a 2 loop set up, i'd change your lop around to go from front rad to top rad >CPU>GPU>PUMP/RES>FRONT RAD, that would look slightly neater as you wouldnt have that one going over your GPU then

My opinion OFC but you had that setup in the first build

well the reason i wanted to go 2 loops because somewhere around christmas time i want to add another 7970 to the setup so i would be running 1 loop w/240 rad for the cpu and 1 loop w/360 rad for gpu's. i might upgrade my case to something else as it's pretty hard to keep stuffing the 650d even though it's a really awesome case just a bit too small. I know Mick(mayhems) is working on some cases so i will see what they have to offer when they are done.

Nice rig but the red light is drowning everything.

A white LED will light everything nicely, plus it will reflect off the aurora particles better.

I've thought about it and i've decided i'm going to do one more final revision. I've posted my build on couple other sites as well and got some input. So here is the revision list so far.

1. Lighting. Will probably get some white lighting to bring out the parts better.
2. Tubing. Will probably go with black tubing and get mayhems pastel(red) in the loop.
3. Cut a hole in the sidepanel for the 240 radiator or just get a whole clear side window i gotta look into that though as i don't know how that works really.
4. Move the 240 radiator closer to the psu and add a 200mm fan in the front.
5. Flip the fans on the top rad so they are not pulling air into the case but taking it out.
6.Flip the reservoir upside down so that the tube from the cpu goes to the top of the reservoir that will eliminate that long tube going from cpu all the way down to the the bottom if the res

I'm still open for suggestions though and thanks for the input guys. This is my first w/c build so bear with me :D.
