I've had issues with Steam freezing my work and home PC when installing/downloading..

I have steam downloading games before that just gets a few hundred KB/s for a few seconds then stops then repeats. Really annoying i am sure its 100% steams fault too.

The download finished a little while ago without a hitch. It's probably an issue with Steam for certain users.

Shockingly for me i was getting my max download from my ISP nearly the whole time.. its only with a few specific games where it keeps happening.
Oh and enjoy the game!

I think I need to start doing some more story quests as I kept going after this tough mother who has now killed me so many times he's immune to almost everything and is a max level Captain. AVENGE ME SuB!!!
Re the graphics though. I've opted for everything ultra with textures on high coz the stutters can get quite bad when combat gets intense. With these settings i'm running buttery smooth though.
Really is a great game and I keep noticing lil touches that a lot of games wouldn't add in that help with immersion. Combat is SOOO fluid and amazing to watch.

Yeah loving it dialogue hasn't repeated for me yet, there's always a new comment from the last death, or situational remark.. I.E. 'Think that caragor will save you' etc really awesome.
I have to say I had some weird thing with downloading, also steam pauses while it pre-allocates space which is a bit odd. I had to pause and restart mine a couple times to get it going, but it would get the 19MB/s occasionally but it seemed to stall on disk access for some reason.. very strange.
I might set it up on a none-windows directory and see if that helps.
Either way this game is amazing

Really? I thought it was pretty easy. I just learned all the weaknesses and killed a few bodygaurds. Not that hard.. its the next set(won't do spoiler here for ya) thats much more difficult.

Yeah it's straight forward when they have a weakness, but not when they don't!
But the lure quests aren't all that easy in the middle of the strongholds.

I may be in the minority but I think the graphics are at best average and not very good at all. Yes I have all the ultra bits installed as well, the game swallowed 47gb on my SSD.
Multi GPU support is also poor.
It is full of bugs on AMD cards.
Bearing in mind it is a TWIMTBP game, AMD cards are faster than NVidia ones.
Graphics wise it is not that demanding even on a single 290X @4K.
Rotten launches like this are killing the games industry, things like menu glitches, bugs, SLI and CF support etc should work from day one.

Are we talking about the same game? it runs beautifully for me... and it looks excellent?
Things of note, when viewing orcs in the army screen and stuff, skin, facial stuff, details on everything... it really does look nice and play awesomely...

I've played on 3 machines and had zero bugs.
I had a level 18 captain and his only weakness was that you can hurt him from range (and not by much). Everything else he had as strengths. I'll see if I can get a screenshot. But I couldn't counter or dodge over him and he had a shield.
