Setup GPU Client for 2nd GPU

Ah. Yes. Bugger. The remote desktop reset the graphics driver and causes the UNSTABLE_MACHINE error.

If you run it via the Startup folder it should be fine (until remote desktop logs in).

I'm not sure if things like VNC have the same problem?

Hmm. That sounds like Cuda wasn't updated with the drivers.

Got a link to the drivers you used?

Ok, I know it'll be a pain but try the 197.45 driver instead. According to Stanford, 2xx series drivers are Fermi only. :(

YAY finally working although temps are a bit worrying

CPU 90+

GPU 80+

When you have fans on side of case, are they meant to be blowing into case or exhausting???

Thanks everyone for alllllllllllllll your help

I would go front and side blowing in, top and rear sucking out.

Did the 197.45 drivers fix it?

Temps do seem high, As far as the fans you'll have to experiment to see what works best. All of my stuff is open case or case less

The Cuda toolkit fixed it.......

My CPU cooler isn't that great, just ordered a Noctua, think that is probably making GFX hot too, Just running GFX Client tonight, as CPU seems to be getting to hot, will run that when I get the Noctua

Thanks again for allllllllllllllllllllllllll your help guys you have been great :)

Glad you got it working hayleywow! :) That Noctua should definitly help. I'm curious to see what kind of ppd you get with that 6 core i7

Me to can't wait to get the Noctua, also I brought another GTS 250 off a friend for £40, so will be dumping that in too

One thing I have noticed is the GFX client runs quicker, does the WU faster

Also EVGA Precision is still say GPU Usage 0% but temp shows that something is happening LOL
