Setting up a board here for CPC?

Anyone interested? The CPC bench suite is more or less a "whos who" in the U.K... so might be good to have our own wee league table for it...we could always split the leaderboard into single and dual-core parts...

I got the disk, just waiting until I can be bothered to install and run it.

An off the cuff run of the benches at 260*10 gave me an overall score of 1.03, split as follows: 1.24, 0.63, 1.22. This was on top of a bedded-in Windows install, with all the usual nonsense running in the background.

The video coding test took 15 minutes!... to all the single-core guys..get yourselves a beer while its running. Hell- I could nip to my local for a jar in that time!

The benches give the option of a restart and a defrag between benches, and also the chance for the CPU to cool down a bit if you`re pushing it a bit. Also..it looks like a single test can be re-run, and the overall score updated if the score aint as good as you were hoping... Still to check and see if scores will be accepted if they`ve been obtained like this, but another nice touch.

Any other scores, feel free to post them here until I post the "real" thread for it together with something resembling a layout. Will try and get it stickied as well.
