Hey all,
I saw the video tutorial on youtube a while back and have been watching it consistantly to try and get my overclock stable. I'm trying to set my RAM timings to make sure that the OC run as smooth as possible with the lowest voltages possible. Currently I have http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820231416 RAM. The timing says it's 9-9-9-24 Command Rate 2N (9-9-9-24-2N). I've confirmed this on the GSkill website. When I set these times though the computer restarts. Leaving them on auto and I was able to run a 20 HR stress test before it restarted. These are my settings right now:
i5 3570K @ 4.4 GHz Volts 1.1270
Gigabyte Z77-UD3H Updated to newest BIOS F18
Gskill Sniper RAM 1600MHz 1.25V (9-9-9-24-2N)
SeaSonic 620W Non-Modular PSU
Corsair H80i with Cougar Vortex fans
Also, are my volts too high? I'm not really ever hitting 72 degrees Celsius. Did I misunderstand the guy in the video when he was saying that the RAM timing could be the issue rather than trying to up the voltage? Could I possibly drop the voltage more and set the RAM up properly to get a more stable overclock? Thanks all for the help. Sorry if I missed anything or if you need more info let me know and I'll post it as soon as possible
