I am seriously at my wit’s end with this problem.
It all started yesterday evening. After playing some rounds of League of Legends I wanted to watch Modern Family on my TV screen so I reinstalled the HDMI-cable. After I did that my computer froze and displayed a notification that there is a problem with my nvidia graphics drivers. Since my computer didn’t react at all I restarted it and short after logging in it froze again. Now I restarted my computer with unplugged hdmi cable but it froze again. Then I tested the safe mode and everything was fine but only until I restarted my computer in normal mode. Really pissed off I went to bed. Today morning I tried starting my computer again it didn’t work so reinstalled windows. That went well until I restarted my computer after installing IE9. After restarting and logging in it froze again.
Just a few minutes ago I restarted my computer again. First the screen was black for more than a minute before I can log in. After logging in I started IE9 and first the screen became black then turned normal again and then finally froze.
I seriously don’t know what to do know, the only option that is left on my mind is changing the gpu to check if its faulty (I still got my old GT330 here). So I hope for some helpful replies. So that I don’T have to play LoL on my lapi (AMD e-450, the cpu name says more than 1000 words) for too long.

PS. Sorry if this is the wrong section for my problem.

What are your full system specs? If you have a spare card like you say, have you tested with that? Have you got a spare cable to try? It could be a number of things causing the issues, so a full spec list would help.
