I'm looking for some advice regarding the best laptop for a serious chess player.
I have to run some relatively heavy programs, such as Houdini 4, Fritz 14, and Komodo 8. Chess analysis mostly involves sitting and reading results, so it's not really "gaming," but the faster the analysis (positions per second) the better. I will often run several chess engines simultaneously...
I'll also be using the laptop for my work as a translator, where I must type around 90 words per munite, so a top-tier keyboard is crucial.
Any suggestions ($1500-2000)?
