Just looking for a bit of advice as I have no idea what to do.
I sent my Razer Blackwidow Ultimate keyboard back as it was faulty, Now according to the post office the package arrived on the 18th at 10 am at scan were an employee signed for it *recorded delivery*.
Now scan are saying they never recieved it even though I've contacted the delivery depot that delivered my package and confirmed that a member of scans staff did infact sign for it, Still they are saying they never recieved it even though I have proof from the post office.

What would you do as I am totally lost, Any advice would be hugely appreciated.

Oh god, that is a worst nightmare come true, i hope you can find some way of sorting this out mate, excuse my french "bastards".

your proof of delivery is all you need to complain.

the royal mail keep records for a long time.
if you type in the NUMBER from your receipt in the their 'order tracking system' online, you can even see who signed for it. ;)

Oh ive done that and i phoned scan up saying the name of the person that signed for it, he put me on hold for 5 minutes then nervously said that the person who signed for it doesnt work there even though the post office said it was a scan employee who signed for it.
Since then, Last friday, It's been email after email.

Got in touch with scan again today and they still refuse they received it even though the post office have proof that a scan employee signed for it.

Got in touch with CAB and they are going to help and said it will probably go to a small claims court.

Quite an annoying week really.

dam hope you get it sorted out and there is me just had a asus motherboard from them, just please hope i get a good use out of it before it dies.

hope all the best dude not a good thing to have done to you.

You'll probably need to get the signature from the post office to make the claim. keep us updated I'd be interested to see how this goes...

Thanks all, Already got the signature and name of the person who signed for it but scan said he/she apparently doesn't work there.
I cant see royal mail going up to Joe Bloggs in the street and asking them to sign a recorded delivery parcel.
Going into the local CAB tomorrow to talk to someone though so I will keep this updated.

Scan eventually kind of replied today, They said if i can give them proof from the royal mail, in written form, that it was delivered to them then they might look into this a bit more than just taking a 5 second glance around the warehouse for my parcel.

if i was you dice i would contact the bbc's watchdog and also talk to a local trading standards rep... this is not the 1st time ive heard of scan doing things like this.

tell them you already sent proof the royal mail gave you the name of the person who signed for it they have 2 choices REPLACE or REFUND its part of Your statutory rights and you are covered even more with distance selling law.

I got a reply from the office of fair trading and theyve put me in touch with someone called "Action Fraud - Action Fraud is the UK’s national fraud reporting centre where you should report fraud if you have been scammed or defrauded"

So hopefully theyll help with this really annoying matter, Is it bad that I want to travel to scans HQ and grip they main person and shout in his face "Stop being a w****r" ?

P.S This temporary £4.99p keyboard is really annoying me :p

This sound's very different from my experiences with scan, I had a motherboard DOA, I sent them a quick message, got a response in a few hours, sent it out the next day and then received the new motherboard the next week

You got lucky then, This is the 2nd time theyve buggered up, the first time i sent back a faulty mobo, the lan port was DOA, it took them 3 weeks to replace it, I think im going to be sticking to overclockers.co.uk from now as ive never had trouble with them and ive been shopp[ing with them for about 6 years now.
