Hi All,
I woke up yesterday morning and turned the PC on like a normal day, went to the loo while it booted and came back to find it in the BIOS. So I reloaded the machine as it sometimes does this because its fussy about the overclock and low and behold it loads back into the BIOS!
I am now worried that the replacement Samsung 950 pro has died in a similar fashion to the first one I had! So I go to boot devices and it is now no longer there!
So I take the 950 pro out to inspect it and I cannot see a thing wrong with it! So I get the Asus Hyperkit (PCI-e m.2 card) and plug it into that. Boot the PC with it installed and I get nothing as usual! It did work on this when I first got the 950 pro!
So I now take the hyperkit + 950 pro and put it into a different PC. It still doesnt show it!
I have gone through all the steps to get the SSD to show up in the BIOS as there is some settings that need changing but it still doesnt want to show up!
So what do I do now? I have gotten in contact with both Samsung and Asus to make sure I start the RMA asap if it is dead. I have contacted Asus because I want to find out if it is a defect with the Sabertooth X99!
