Second 7970

So I am going to buy a second 7970 at the end of the month. I currently have a Sapphire HD 7970 reference design.

I am thinking of getting the MSI R7970 or the Asus DCU2 7970 or a reference Sapphire 7970.

In case I go with the Asus or MSI I will put my sapphire in the other PCIe slot and have those in my main. SO it gets less hot and doesn't get so loud and the other card stays nice and quiet anyway.

What d you guys think I should do? (Price is absolutely not an issue here it makes no difference for me I got the money)

Just to put things in perspective I will mention the prices of the cards:

MSI R7970: 540,00 Euro (446 pounds)

Asus DCU2 HD 7970: 494,60 Euro (408 pounds)

Sapphire HD 7970 Reference Design: 445,00 Euro (367 pounds)

Any advice would be apriciated

Btw my Sapphire HD 7970 runs fine at 1070Mhz/1375 Mhz

I have a Asus DCII 6970 and love it, if you would buy your first card would be my advice, it overclock very well and it's very quiet. But since you already have one sapphire reference 7970 and would be running at the lower speed anyway, I would personally go with the reference card, and save the money for something else. (Put at least one pci in between the cards!) But if you don't have anything else to spend the money and don't care about it I would go with the Asus card. The only time I would go with the MSI is if you plan on doing 3x crossfire so you would still have a better then the reference but only 2 slot card.

Ps.: What is your case and it's well ventilated? It's very important if you go for the Asus or the MSI card

It's a full tower case with LOADS of ventilation, if need be I can mount 4 fans on the side panel extra. lol. It's an Aerocool XpreadtorX Black

This is my rig without side panel:

My reference card runs at 1070Mhz/1375Mhz so it would run at the speed of the MSI card. ^^ I have triple slot space on my mobo so I can fit the Asus card and the reference with some room to spare.

I'm thinking of going reference just in case I go watercooling in the future and I plan on getting either a 2700k or a 3770k whenever I can see a good comparison in performance and OC capability.
