I can't go back to ME2... it just looks so bad.
I think it is still epic. The whole atmosphere and story is great and i also like the combat system. Looking forward to start ME3 soon. Is ME3 a lot better graphics vice?

errrrr,you are on PC right?use some damm mods on it then ffs!Hi res tex mods(characters only) is fecking awesome,seriously a PC game complaining about looks...........I can't go back to ME2... it just looks so bad.

ME3 was the first game in the series that I played. I didn't get into the first one or second due to it's visuals, and at the time I wasn't a PC gamer.
So... when I got my new PC I thought I'd give ME3 a go. And at first it was an average looking PC game, textures were really bad and the facial animations were rough. But behind all that ME3 is a beautiful game. Small environment details, lens flare effects, particles, sounds and incredible cinematography... the game was BY FAR one of the best games I've played.
And I regret never having played the first two. I am a man of graphics though... and I usually can't go back to older games, I don't know why.

As I mentioned above, I was late to the ME scene. I looked into the ME3 graphical tweaks and stumbled across the ME2 textures and tweaks you mentioned. They do look better, but not that great.
I love deep immersion in stories, and now that I know the end of ME3 it would be hard for me to go back to the other games, even if they looked decent.
