NCE? You'll figure it out later
Sdumper, scott, has asked me to do a 2 stager, then wait, nope a three stager, so why not
The parts list:
Stage One:
Another 3/4-7/8hp Tecumseh Rotary compressor
Chilly1 Cascade condenser
Capillary/TXV (TXV might not happen)
Plate HX Possibly, though might do a standard 1/4" in 1/2" depending on copper prices
And all that jazz of T's and pipework and filters and such
r507a
Stage Two: Sdumpers Rotary single stage de-commissioning
3/4-7/8hp Tecumseh Rotary compressor
Chilly1 Single stage condenser, or the original condenser without fan in front of condenser fan
Temprite 304 Oil separator
Packless 1k-Burst Hand Valve
(Into the HX)
Capillary
Plate HX
r1150
Safety cut-off, relief, expansion tank, de-composite pressure relief
Stage Three: Tecumseh 1.125hp Rotary of 7/8hp Matsu****a Compressor (Need to check ultra-low temp application ratings)
Half of original condenser as desuperheater, plus large coil
Temprite 304 Oil separator
Packless 1k-Burst Hand Valve
(Into Second HX)
(Into subcooler)
Capillary to Subcooler and evaporator)
Kayl Evaporator on 24" Braided Flexible Line
r14 + r740
Safety cut-off, relief, expansion tank, de-composite pressure relief
The casing, with room for NCE^3.
You can see the nice comparison to the old 1hp rotary that has begun a foot rest. There will be a huge condenser up front though.
Much more updates as we pay/play/build stage by stage
