I'm looking into getting a fan controller, I've decided this one is fairly good after reading a couple reviews and what not. The only problem is my fans, would it be a good idea for me to spend £20 and replace my old fans to make sure they are all compatible and what not?

Also, just joined the forum like 5 mins ago so I'm a newbie

Need to make sure that they are the connectors that are like floppys...Completely forgotten their name. I am pretty sure that your fans would be ok.

What are they? Maybe there is a way of finding out?

I need 3 pin connectors, and i dont think some of my fans have this. Instead of paying for new cables, I could get new fans. fans would be more expensive but probably more sensible?

if your fans are abit old or pants then buy new ones. If not just buy 3 pin connectors and change the ends

As long as changing the ends doesnt mean wiring stuff. I hate that. Thanks for the advice anyway

no the adaptors fit to the end of the fan cable depending on what connection it is molex etc.
