Scythe GT ap15 or the Coolermaster Blade Master 120?

There is one quick question I have about some 120mm fans. I decided to go with a 240 rad in the bottom of my switch 810 and I narrowed the 2 fans I want to use between the Scythe GT ap15, which I have read that they are amazing for radiators. Then I started reading about the Coolermaster Blade Master and thought it would be ideal because it has an extremely high static pressure at 3.9mm h2o. Has anyone used these to fans for there build?

There is one other fan that I believe is damn good looking and that is the CM Sickleflow 120 any thoughts on this fan? O and my build is White, Black, and Blue so another bonus with the sickleflow.

Anyways thanks in advance for all of the thoughts on my questions. OC3D is an amazing community!

Never heard of those Coolermaster Blade Master fans before, the static pressure is higher than the GTs and they are only 4db louder on full. Based on the specs alone I would go for the blade masters, i'd look for reviews or comparisons between them and other fans first though.

Well hell I just read that both the Blade Master and the Sickleflow are long life Sleeve Bearings which all of you know do not last as long if there are pushing air in the up or down direction. Looks like it will be the GT ap15 or back to the drawing board I go.

Edit:Cooler Master Excalibur looks to be promising.

From all the research I have done on the best fans for rads, everything I have read has always lead back to the GTs. The new Nocuas that Tom reviewed seem good though, they don't have the static pressure that the GTs have but they have a more direct flow which is good for rads as all the air is being pushed strait through the rad and not blown out to the sides creating dead spots. Also with the Noctua's, even on full they are quiet, the GTs on full are pretty load, you wouldn't want them on full 24/7 anyway.

CM Sickleflow 120s r good fans in a very low price but they r not suitable for cooling rads. tbh I can't believe that its specs r true.

but they look really cool!

Well most of what I have read is that the Sickleflow and the Blade Master are both sleeve bearing and will last only a 2/3rd of the life that they say will last when mounted in either pushing or pulling air in a upwards or downwards fashion.

What is the static pressure of the GT's I cant find it anywhere?

What I have found between the noctua nff12 and the cm excalibur is that the CM has a higher static pressure at 3.53 and the noctua tops out at 2.64. The rpms range from 600@13dba to 2000@30dba while the static pressure goes from 0.73 up to 3.53. The nocuta rpm rangs from 300 to 1500@22.4. I lean towards the Excaliburs because of the static pressure but they will be a little louder, also they are cheaper and look bad ass imho.

There is no official listing for the static pressure for the GTs but I have read on a few random places while doing research that people have tested them and they are around 2.80 mm H20.

I didn't realize the static pressure on the NF12s were that high to be honest, if it was me i'd go for those.

after this little discussion I have decided to go ahead with the noctua's, I am glad OC3D is here to talk these things out!

Thanks!!!!
