This is disgusting. We shouldn't stand for this.

Unless prices come back down to sane levels i.e way way below the 1000 quid mark, Then whenever my 2080 Ti bites the dust I'll be moving on from PC gaming, While that sucks I cannot justify paying 1000 pounds or more for GPU's anymore that get superseded once every 8+ months.
I've completely given up my hardware hobby this year. The prices are just getting astronomical. For the price of a GPU worth upgrading to I've managed to pay for a motorcycle, safety gear and training. I know what I'm having more fun with too. When prices come back to sane levels I'll consider upgrading my PC, but until then nobody in the hardware sector is getting a penny out of me.
Seeing where the prices are today, I am genuinly happy that I managed to snag my (dual) Strix 3080 OC for £884 back in November.

£884 is still too much in my opinion
