another thing ive got a yellow and white cable with a fan thingy on the end not molex the three pin does that go in the motherboard

Do NOT use both power connectors on ur HD, ur likely to blow it sky high... Some people arent as lucky as us and their PSU's don't have SATA power heads (poor them :boohoo
The yellow and white cable w/ the 3 pin molex, it has a fan on the end u say? Is it a chipset fan or what? That definately needs to be plugged in because that usually means your chipset gets to hot to be passively cooled.

llk@ my rails (all within .04 of what they are meant to be on a heavily oced system)
my psu cost £13 and keeps within 0.1 of what they should be. cant argue with that!!
