That is a sexy card and would be perfect for a LAN rig aiming for 1080P.
From what I read Tom they designed it so that the back plate would get cooling too. And it works, apparently. But yeah, that may explain the closed design.
Thank you for such a great review. It was very nice to see a review that does not come out of a can like so many others I have seen on the net.
I really like the fact that you mentioned looking at changing your case exhaust to see if there was any difference. I found by accident, I can lower my Fury temps by up to 15C if I would let my rad fans run at full speed.
