Barely faster than the 7800XT. Due to the overclock on the memory being limited to 3%.
TBH they both don't need to exist, but, if this drops the price of the 7800XT I am all for it.
I actually thought it was better than it is, and was going to buy one if we get them. Problem is? it's like 5% faster than my 6800XT (and probably not even that given I have the Strix LC) no faster than my 6950XT and no faster than the 6900XT I have either (because it is the Toxic and has insane boost clocks).
Like I say, I hopeful AMD have just released it so that hopefully they can drop the price of the 7800XT without losing too much face. Because unless there is a big price gap there's no point in this at all.
