Still, what you originally typed came across as if you were saying the 560ti was a better card than the 6990. (even though we knew what you meant hence the smiley)

The 6990 AKA most powerful card in the world (debatable) vs a 560ti mid range card

it may be smaller, quieter and draw less power and all the rest but you should have know this when buying the card anyway.

i got a HD5870 and its a XFX one its not very loud only audible when gaming but unless u stick ur ear to the case you cant hear it over the sound anyway and when idling its silent gets to 88C if you stress test with Furmark but no game will make it get that hot.

Dugd what you mean is the 560 is more convenient to you but its defiantly not better.

yeah and the thing is that my motherboard only supports crossfire, so I can't sli 560s unless I upgrade, which is another thing that I would have to do if I wanted to get 3 screen surround

Yeah even if it's not the dirt 3 edition with the custom cooler, I still get an amazing graphics card with Dirt 3 for £203 delivered!

Get the TF2 version 6950, I had that and you couldn't hear it over the psu fan. Even on 100% the fans were like an 8v case fan.

Radeon 6xxx series is for gaming.

Geforce 5xx series is for everything else.
