Just before "Black Friday", don't expect any deals on SSD's or Ram kits.
Yep... It's going to be a year of bad pricing...

Literally just helped my mum buy a new laptop. Got her a good deal. She had an old Windows 10 laptop and needed something newer. I told her not to wait.

The Nvidia and AMD cards have had prices fall recently but that's likely to change as well as the SSDs.

Hopefully HDDs won't be effected. I'd like to expand my NAS soon.

HDD demand is up too sadly. With NAND pricing going up, HDDs are getting more attractive. Datacenters still have a lot of use for spinning rust.

I couldn't have picked a better moment to buy a new GPU and another SSD. And I was debating whether I should wait for the holiday sale. The reason I decided to upgrade now instead of waiting was basically because I figured everyone else would wait for holiday discounts, which could mean the stuff I wanted might get sold out before I even had the chance to grab it.

I'm definitely building my new system in the next week or so then. I can't wait any longer. I've already lost £50 on RAM prices. It's not the end of the world, but if other parts go up then it's going to become annoyingly expensive.
