Samsung Spec confusion - 913n vs 940n ?

The Samsung website is pretty useless at allowing direct comparison between the specs of their multitude of monitors...

Can anyone simply tell me what the differences are between the SM913n and the SM940n ? Which is likely to be the best ? I'm looking for a narrow bezel, and decent D-SUB performance.

my recommendation is, get a monitor with dvi even if you only can use d-sub today.

when i did research some time ago i discovered many monitors had problem with d-sub that didnt exists with dvi.

problems such as unsharp picture and colours not right some needed to be calibrated often.

Deffo get one with DVI. DVI is clearer, sharper and more defined with brighter colours

I've seen those specs PDFs, but if anyone can tell me a significant difference between these, that was my question:

On the DVI thing, it will cost me at least £30 to step up. I have a dual monitor setup at work - identical LG's, one with DVI and one with VGA, and frankly the difference isn't all that much.

Well, weight for one thing. Also, I wouldn't be too surprised if they use different panels either.

if i recall right the 913 was deemed a good gaming lcd over at tomshardware.

i use the 913n mostly for CSS its good, nice and fast quite crisp relative to other tfts ive used.. but it doesnt have DVI, if your in the market for a TFT from samsung i got some contacts and can get some pretty good ex demo bargains on them let me know the model and i can check for you. in fact i still may have a 913n at home... ill check
