Just been offered 2 of these for 350 euros for the pair, there brand new OEM.

There from a shop in Paris, no idea where they offloaded them from but the performance looks not to far off a 960 pro.

Should I buy them , and put them in a raid 0 (not bothered about losing data, everything important is on the NAS) ?

I don't know if I'd bother RAIDing them, considering how fast they are. Once speeds get up that high, it becomes a matter of added complexity for diminishing returns. Not to mention slow boot times due to the RAID bios. But if you've got the cash, I'd grab em!

Aint really got the cash, but I can eat baked beans for the rest of the month.

Picking them up tomorrow morning @ 11H30, will raid 0 them just for the fun.

Ok, got the NVME drives picked up this morning.

Whacked them in a raid 0 and here is some Aida / Anvil test's :

What do your reckon ? Worth it for 300e ?

A couple more tests this morning, I'm definatley being bottlenecked by DMI 3.0 link to the CPU with Raid 0 , but I'm happy with the results 2tb NVME for 300 euros (knocked the price down in the shop):

That's a great price!

But to be honest I'd flip them on eBay as they cost around 370€ new here in Germany.
You could probably make quite a profit on them.

It is pretty mental at starting up my vmware lab, about 20 seconds to start up 12 vm's.

Defo gonna keep them...
