A bit over a year ago I purchased the Samsung Jet. I was happy with it, untill a couple of months later, when I started to listen to music with it.
I had a Creative Zen V Plus MP3 player that served me well for about 4 years, when it broke.
So then, because of lack of money, I started using my Jet for music (Paired with a set of Sennheiser CX300-II's).
After a couple of months, the headphone plug broke. I guess one of the pins inside was bent or something, because it wasn't making proper connection with the headphone jack anymore. If I'd listen to music while walking, the sound in the left earbud would falter. However, if I'd postition the headphone jack in a certain way it wouldn't occur. I tested the sennheisers with my computer and my dad's laptop aswell as with my brothers iPod and iPhone, and they worked just fine.
Now this was after about a month of using my jet for music. I then took it to a service center, and they had it repaired. I got it back after about two weeks, and it was working again.
The thing is... it's broken again!
The problem occured about two hours ago when I was at school. I turned the music off in class, and when the lesson finished, I turned it back on only to find that it was broken. I tested the headphones like I did previously and they work just fine.
What should I do? I could take it to the service center and have it repaired, but since it's most likely a flaw in the headphone plugs they use or a problem with my phone, I feare that after a couple of months it will occur again. I don't want to lose my phone for two weeks ever 2 months. That's just ridiculous.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.
