Samsung Galaxy S4 problem

I just got the Samsung Galaxy S4, I wanted to put my music & stuff on it but Samsung Kies (similar to itunes) won't connect. They took off the mass storage option when you connect the usb cable.

Does anyone know if there is a fix or a way I can acces my phone without using Samsung Kies?

I'm using android version 4.2.2 and my model number is GT-I9505.

You don't really need Kies to get to it as Samsungs will connect like an external hdd just make sure you have connect via usb enabled and it should connect fine then you just drag and drop what you want to and from the phone

Thats how I used to do it on my Galaxy SI but it seems they took out the mass storage option. I can only choose between Media device (MTP) and Camera (PTP)

If you contact Samsung in whichever country you are in they will be able to talk you through getting it all set up properly they will have a free call number so give em a bell

From vista + MTP will mount as a drive auto when you connect the usb cable. For xp I think you need to download drovers for support.

On a side note they didn't take it out, Google removed from android source if you are rooted you can flash mass storage back.
