Hello!
Not sure if this is the right place to put this, so apologies if it needs to be moved! It is a networked printer though!
At work we have a Samsung CLX-9352NA MFC printer. It's a bit of a beast! But now is a pain in my backside! Here are the issues:
Here's a picture guide of what happens when trying to align it:
The beast...
Pressed "Print Adjustment"
Tray 1
A4
Printed out the adjustment sheet
Placed sheet on scanner (looks like the wrong way but it's not!)
Went to next screen and pressed "Start"
The spawn of satan shows itself...
Things I have tried for each problem:
Alignment Utility Problem
Skewed Print/Scan
Cant Print Multiple Copies
Any help you can provide would be greatly received!
Cheers,
Joe

At work we have a Samsung CLX-9352NA MFC printer. It's a bit of a beast! But now is a pain in my backside! Here are the issues:
- Unable to print multiple copies - Like selecting "Copies - 2" in Word,
- Scanning is skewed,
- Printing is shunted into one corner/not aligned,
- And now the most annoying thing... The alignment utility on the printer doesn't work.
Here's a picture guide of what happens when trying to align it:

The beast...

Pressed "Print Adjustment"

Tray 1

A4

Printed out the adjustment sheet

Placed sheet on scanner (looks like the wrong way but it's not!)

Went to next screen and pressed "Start"

The spawn of satan shows itself...
Things I have tried for each problem:
Alignment Utility Problem
- Pressed "Cancel" and carried on anyway - Adjustment screen stays open, it scans if I press "Start" but nothing else happens,
- Retried the process with different size/tray,
- Turn it off and on again....
- Gone through ALL other setting menus.
- Got in touch with Samsung in hoping they would give me the firmware for the printer. They said something about "needing" to send out an engineer. I replied saying that "I am capable of installing the firmware, is it possible to send the firmware to me". They haven't replied since...
Skewed Print/Scan
- Cleaning/Maintenance off printer (hardware).
Cant Print Multiple Copies
- Updated print drivers
- Turned off "collate"
- Added an IP Port for the printer on the server - WORKED! However, after doing this every time some one prints they get a message saying "Currently the other printer is being monitored".
Any help you can provide would be greatly received!
Cheers,
Joe
