I'm getting crazy results in Samsung Magician and CrystalDiskMark. I contacted Samsung about this yesterday, and they told me it must be Megabits per second... so divide the number by eight...lol
This is not the case because the software clearly says MB/s not Mb/s!
Btw it's running AHCI/SATA3/Rapid mode.
I'm new on the forum, don't know how to upload screenshots. So anyway my Magician results are:
Sequential reads 4187MB/s
Sequantial writes 3655MB/s
Random reads 102998MB/s
Random writes 63331MB/s
CrystalDiskMark 3.0.3 x64 results are:
Sequential reads 6189MB/s
Sequential writes 5108MB/s
4k reads 504.2MB/s
4k writes 269.0MB/s
4kQD32 reads 485.7MB/s
4kQD32 writes 278.8MB/s
Now the question is, what is going on? These are ramdisk-like speeds...
So either my SSD is way faster than its rated speed or both of these benchmarks are sh**
Can someone tell me another benchmark I could try?
