hi all i wanted to know if anyone else like me is sad and plays flight simultors and if they have the new FSX

if anyone has it or knows someone who has got it then please let me know what it is like as i am looking to buy it.

I've got quite a collection of flight sims. I love 'em.

Not played FSX yet though. Never really got into MS flight sims.

If ya fancy a bit of "Dagga dagga dagga boom crash" then you could do a lot worse than get LOMAC or the IL-2 series. Of course there's always Falcon, the benchmark of all sims IMHO

I read FSX is a MAJOR pita to run on computers. On all the reviews I read, people were complaining about their slow arse fps even when they were using like a 7900

All MS flight sims are the same. They never run well on the recommended system specs. I never bothered with FS2000 after seeing the slideshow on my bro-in-laws PIII 800.

Dunno what 3D engine they use
