Ouch, that's pretty nasty. Looks like it found its way under a transit van.

One of those DVI slots is deffo a goner, but I'd give the card a 7/10 chance of working via the other DVI (not that I'd suggest trying)

Sure it was Royal Mail and not the seller?? That said I dunno how anyone could mangle one up quite like that.

Well RMSD covers a value of £500 iirc...

So you shouldn't be out of pocket (obviously it is a pita).

How much do 8800's sell for these days...I'm sure it's about £499 in the "Overclock3D Shop"

LMAO!

What was the packaging like ?

I mean jiffy isn`t really going to cut it for parcel post, u`d surely need original boxing - polystyrene packs at the least.

Yeah, they have that really reasonable £100 listing fee don't they? lol.

Agree with you Rast - a jiffy bag isn't enough at all.

I tohught it might be the seller too...

.

I got one off the Bay. I had the pci bracket bent a bit too but it worked fine.

I take it you saw pics of the card prior to sale. aka not FUBAR'd.

you could claim via paypal or royal mail though i would expect a rebate for a good month or longer ...... :(

Anyone who knows anything knows a jiffy isn't good enough for a graphics card, they weigh a tonne. You will be covered on cost though at least :)
