rip build

Hi all i have been asked to build a rip for the company i work for to run a mimaki cjv30 and a oce colourwave 600 with a small buget i sugested the following:

intel i5 2500

GA-H67M-D2 Intel H67 (REV B3)

4gb of corsair xms3 1333

a coolermaster psu 500w

cheap dvd drive

BitFenix Outlaw Black Midi Tower Chassis

win 7 pro 32bit (as the rip is a 32bit program and i have tryed 64bit and it rips slower)

the grand total was just over 500 pounds i told them i would make it for free and fix it also for 2 years. The md told me i was riping him off and and i had no idea little dose he know i have made 3 simeler ones for the company i used to work for and not had one back or one problem and i have a i7 gamind rig i build myself also oced when i tryed to explain this he said he did not care. any way he went away and asked a few other ppl to quote for a simalar system and the cost was just over 1200. now my question is should i make it if he comes crawling back or tell him to get lost i am not intrested.

ps the deadline now wed to build and test in my own time also.

I'd tell him to get lost if he comes back. It's only going to give you trouble. If there are any issues with it after it's built it will all be blamed on you and he will say, "I told you so". Let him go to a proper company so he can go after them when his panties get into a twist again. It's not worth your time or effort.

Sounds like you're a serial builder the same as the rest of us, and you've got the itch.

If you like him do it, if he's a tosser don't bother. btw you should add £50 for your time and expertise - I would.

I'd tell him to get lost if he comes back. It's only going to give you trouble. If there are any issues with it after it's built it will all be blamed on you and he will say, "I told you so". Let him go to a proper company so he can go after them when his panties get into a twist again. It's not worth your time or effort.

I your probably right its just i hate to see ppl get riped off.

I usualy do add exactly that mate your are right i do have the bug
