Rigid tubing and sizes!

I am getting ready to purchase components for a new loop, it's my first one and I would like to use rigid tubing but I and wondering about larger than 3/8 Id and 1/2 OD tubing and fittings. I noticed that EK sells 12mm ID x 16mm OD tubing and fittings. Has anyone here used these sizes and do and compression fitting work or do you have to use special fittings designed for rigid tubing? My reasoning is that I think the smaller tubing looks kinda slim and I am wanting a beefier look.

you'll need fittings designed for rigid tubing. Monsoon makes some where you actually use a UV active glue to put a collar on it making a more slip resistant seal. As far as size goes I agree the beefier ones look better so just buy the fattest ones ya can. IIRC they only come in 2 sizes.

you can get 12mm OD, 13mm OD and 16mm OD as far as I'm aware
