Right Buy?

Hey guys i want to know if i bought the right GFX card . All my friends say that i should have bought a ASUS GFX card but i bought MSI N570 GTX power Edition twin frozer III.I got the card for +-240 pounds.I also have my old gtx 9800 1 gig should i use it as a physix card?

For your first question I think you made a good decision with that card. The Twin Frozr III cooler is highly rated. As for your second question I cannot provide any advice

Yep recently bought an MSI card with a TF3 cooler on it myself. If you haven't already download a copy of MSI Afterburner - you can set a custom fan profile and keep that gpu lovely and quiet.
 
you couldnt have made a better choice, they are "the Card" out of the GTX570s, I have one and they are excellent.

with regards to physx. I think a 9800t may give you neglible returns. I put my old gtx 275 back in my pc as a dedicated physx card and ran a few Batman AA benchmark tests

the minimun fps ranged from being a couple of fps better to a couple of fps worse with the 275 as a physx, but the average fps was about 10% higher for each test and maxium fps recorded was always a clear 20 frames higher.

if your card is gonna sit in/on you wardrobe and gather dust, you might as well give it a go, if is dont give you anything extra, at least you tried
