review - DFI LANParty UT ICFX3200-T2R RD600

I was surprised to see the 975 so close. But just wait til the overclocking gets started and we'll see what the legendary DFI can do :yumyum: :yumyum:

no one else interested in this? :(

Awww lol. I did read the review, it does look promising... It just left a few questions unanswered for me (unless I simply wasn't paying attention when I was reading it).

Will it support quad core? Will it support ati's dx10 cards when they are released? How well, it at all, will sli run (8800's in particular) with hacked drivers...

Which in DFI terms is "We're still pimpin' the BIOS so you can rest assured it'll easily do 500+fsb out of the box" :D

Umm from what I have read some boards are shipping and it will handle Quad Core, and I would assume with hacked enough drivers it would.

actually it'll get their but only with around 2.1V when stock is like 1.2 ... 1.5v will get you to 450fsb. Maxes out around 511 maybe more if you sink the clockgen heh. FSB is going to be good and most boards are going to get their however it's still not amazing.

apparently it's hardware limited to 511 fsb though due to a clock generator iirc?

511 in BIOS if you max out the NB then I've heard tony say 534 but you've got to sink the clock generator. through AMD manager on an intel mobo heh
