welll i could deffinately say, im happy with the result, this heat sink is truely amazing. for those of you who have a 8800gtx, its worth every cent you pay for

my stock Idol i use to get about 44-47

full Load id get 60-65

now with the hr-03 plus heatsink

stock idol i get 33 and Full load stays at 44

it could go down more once this thermal paste settles in as well,im told, but yeh as i said, a great improvement from before,my fan on my heatsink atm is a 79cfm antec tri-cool think it was... i can onli image how Much more temps would drop if i got myself a delta 220cfm fan lol...which infact i might do.

Ah i love it!! Im in love with huge heatsinks hahaha. I would have to say though, if your gonna show a pic please use the OC3D uploading. Its much faster.

Yummy! :)

I need to get myself one of those beasts.

Who is your chip sooo cool? Im on a GTS and it runs at 63 idle and 70 Load.. And I have a fan pointed at it.. :(

Possibly because he has a decent aftermarket cooler on ;)

Those temps look sweet, although the fan must be loud(?), did you acheive a higher OC as a result of upgrading the heatsink? If so, by how much?

Still. On standard clocks (stock cooler) thats very cool imo, especially as you're in Australia!

My GTX (BFG OC) gets warmer than that with an ambient temperature of 24c +/- 2c

Pic loading extremely slow m8

from the pic it 'looks' as if it may be drawing some warm air air from your PSU

Even with that, Great Temps

lol it does ey, but the PSU fans are designed to suck the air out arnt they?...so ye, it isnt givn hot air... although i wouldnt Mind changing the fan in the PSU, these psu fans run at 10 Cfm or sumfn ha ha...

temps have actually increased abit now, because i had to move the gpu into the next pcie Slot, to vacate for the aftermarket Northbridge Heatsink, lol sorta regretting gettin this N.B heatsink now...it just takes up too Much room, my fan sitting on the gpu heatsink is like inches away from the PSU, i couldnt find any other way to put it, but anyways i might be going to watercooling, that should relieve some of the space....
