okay well i was Hoping for sum change here from my Old O.C without the heatsink, but like before it crashed on the 2nd test.

im locked at 660/1100 12556 @ 3.2ghz on 3dmark06, how on earth do i go up more on the core without having to Bios flash it or volt mod it... i read somewhere about someone on another forum, he was able to go past the 660 mark with the heatsink mod, most of these 8800 gtx's cant go past 660 unless ther Ultras, anyways when he installed the hr-03 heat sink mod he was able to go past the 660,i dont know if im doing sumfn wrong here, but any suggestions would be great....VERY UNIMPRESSED atm.

The problem may be that the card's PCB simply can't cope with these speeds - the HR-03 will only help if your temperatures are too high...

Ya I somehow feel heat isn`t gonna be u`r issue here.

Some kind of inbuilt safety-bios thing around 660 ? stranger things have happened.

Try uping the PCI-E frequency in the bios. Not toooo much bu just a little.

May help get the infomation there quicker and so on! :)
