Since my old cheap chair has broken a while back and the sales have started to hit, I'm looking to get a comfy new chair, as I'm sick of the dinning chair I've been having top put up with, lol.

I've been looking at these Kashmir Microfibre Manager's Chair at Staples

http://www.staples.co.uk/furniture-chairs-cabinets/chairs/executive-chairs/kashmir-microfibre-manager_s-chair

Anyone have any one, did you find them comfy?

They are 50% off at the moment, so please let me know of any good comfortable chairs you can think of. It will be getting used for hours at a time, so I need to get a good one :)

Thanks

if you can get costco membership they have the most amazing chairs, a really soft leather one one sale will cost around 110

Thanks guys, went to staples today to check out there chairs and I liked the Mayfair Leather-faced Executive Chair @ £100 on sale and was trying between that and the Kashmir Microfibre Manager's Chair. Both are really comfortable with some decent adjustments.

Decent lumbar support is the key, together with the ability to be able to slouch - as this gives the muscles in your back a chance to rest by unloading the weight on your lumbar region.

I have been using this chair for a couple of years now, and have to say its lovely.:)

Thanks guys

I went with the Kashmir Microfibre Manager's Chair at Staples in the end, I liked the comfort & back support & picked one up locally.

May you all sit comfortably :)

If you have enough money, than go for the Herman Miller Aeron http://www.amazon.com/Aeron-Chair-Herman-Miller-Adjustable/dp/B003M1C7XW/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1359171313&sr=8-1&keywords=herman+miller+aeron But if you don't have a ton of money, then the closest you can get might be this (I have this chair btw) http://http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000Q5XTE8/ref=ox_sc_sfl_title_4?ie=UTF8&psc=1&smid=AQNACJEM8PUJ1 I'm still looking for other ones though that can have better armrests or maybe a different set of them though.

A little different, but since a lot of you like to mod and fabricate for your rigs, why not make an office chair using an old gas lift and a car seat like so...

I just used a seat i had, but you can pickup a decent car seat from a breakers for very little and make a base up. I used the gas lift of my old ikea chair like the one posted earlier in the thread. I had a white one, which didn't fair too well after 5 years as most of the leather coating had worn off and the egg had somehow fractured at some point.

That's great mate. I have a FK Automotive Detroit chair. And although being the most comfy chair I have sat in, the quality sucks. Mine is about 6 months old and already the stitching is starting to pull apart. I have been thinking for a while on doing exactly what you have done, whilst I return mine.Time to start looking I think.
