Hey Im thinking of adding red premix coolant to my upcoming watercooling system. People keep saying to me not to use red coolant as it stains.

Whats the danger of staining?

Thanks!

lol if it stains then if you decide to change colors you'll have to change tubing. It also depends on what coolant you use some will stain some wont just have to research it out some. Worst case I can think of is plexi rez's and block tops will stain

Okay wont be changing any other colour (Going to match my 932 case). I will go with red coolant then.

Thanks!

Red PC Ice coolant stains everything very quickly. I would suggest you stay away from it.

I recently drained my system out. And yes the clear plexi res was totaly stained. and the tubing was also stained. however the liquid that came out of the loop was a slightly off colour red. As all the dye had seeped into anything it could. Go for mayhems m8.

guys ours stains as well over time .... that's why we recommend change out between 6 to 9 months.

I'd go with a red tubing and either black or silver compression fittings. Would look good inside the HAF 932. Or if your really want the red coolant and clear tubing, check out TTL video on Shadow H2O and look at that color.

yeh Check out that colour dunno who makes pmsl .... plus if i remember correctly its was a 1 off.

Considering it is best to change the coolant every 6-9 months anyway i dont see the difference in dyed coolant or tubing colour because no matter what you have to change the coolant and as long as you dont change the colour it wont matter.

The coolant on Shadow H2O he mixed himself, just red and black.
