Corsair 750D Red/Black Themed, Corsair H110, 32GBs of DDR3-2400!!
Hey all! Another nice system here, nothing too fancy but still very nice.
This system was for a client that needed both OS X and Thunderbolt support for his Audio Device. He wanted something with a red and black theme for his Monster Mac.....so here it is.
Intel i7-4770K running at 4.6GHz
Gigabyte Z87X-UD5 TH(Dual Thunderbolt 2.0 ports)
32GBs of G.Skill Sniper DDR3-2400MHz Memory
Corsair H110 Hydro Water Cooler
2X 250GB Samsung 840 EVO SSD Drives in RAID 0
2TB Western Digital Black Storage Drive
Gigabyte GTX 770 4GB Windforce Graphics Card
Corsair AX760 Power Supply
Corsair Obsidian 750D Case
5X Corsair AF140 Case fans
Bitfenix Red Power/Front Panel Cable Extensions
Bitfenix White LED Strips
Sorry for the Crappy Pictures, had to use my cell phone to take them.
Just as a note to those trying to get Thunderbolt functioning under OS X.
If you have a Thunderbolt device, the only way to get it working/activated is to install Windows first. Once Windows is installed, you will need to install the chipset and thunderbolt drivers for the motherboard. After the driver install, plug in your Thunderbolt Device and let Windows install drivers for it.
It has been found that this driver install Windows does actually activates something in the Thunderbolt chipset and allows it to run under OS X.
I'm still not quite done with it but the remaining extension cables don't come in until next week.
Thanks for looking!
I embrace any constructive criticism you may have for me about this build and what I could do better in the next.
