Recommened me a new Case for H100i

will do :)

last question, are the 2 included fans good to use or shall I order some AF140 quiet editions?

They're pretty good, although obviously they won't be able to compete with £15 fans.
Can stick with these for now, fans are eaily upgraded at a later stage :)

got the case yesterday, set my new rig up

2 things i found

1. the silverstone fan filter am i supposed to put it on at the back of the case or right next to the fan inside the case?

2. the SP120 quiets i bought for the H100i, i cannot control them with the corsair Link, ive just read i need to have PWM versions of the SP120 which i wasnt aware of.

so i may just return these fans and get me some sp120 pwms

1: Back of the case is fine, set the fan to intake :)

2: The regular ones aren't PWM, but you can choose to run them at a permanent 5 or 7 volt.

thanks

the fan grill at the back of the case bulges out so the fan filter has to be bent around it to fit, but when i do this i cant get the side panel off and on as it get sin the way

im thinking of putting the fan filter inside the case to its against the back of the case

or any other ideas?

thanks

Well, considering it's magnetic it can easily be taken off whenever you need to remove the side panel (which I can't imagine happening a lot).

Otherwise you can mount it inside of the case and I think you can even put it on the fan itself if you really want to (although both would be difficult to clean).

thats the thing it wont hold on the case itself as the magnets are on 4 corners but as there's a bulge at the back it wont stay flat lol

il get a pic up later to show what i mean :)

thanks mate

I understand what you mean but I don't know how strong the magnets are. Apparently not strong enough to bend the filter

What about using standoffs? Although then bits of dust will probably bypass the filter if the 'bulge' has ventilation on the sides as well. A pic would be helpful, yes :)

sorry for the delay

iv screwed one side into the fan from the outside but left the other side off for now until i figure out what i need to do or buy some other filter that will fit.

side panel will not go on with the near side of the filter screwed in.

Best screw it in on the inside then? If you put it between the rear panel and the fan, you can probably just vacuum clean it without opening the case.
