Logically, you would think it would have to be a laser. I mean why the hell would you buy a ball based mouse in this day and age...Even if it were for nostalgia.

its a laser as far as I know, the email I got said it uses the latest razer technology so it must have a laser. prob same one thats in my copperhead, looks nice to me

I remember the first boomslang 1000's

I had one of the first ltd edition ones back when I was playing quake2. One of the wheels broke in the end tho

I don't think the shape of it is as good as the newer razer mice tho (diamondback etc)
