i was thinking (bad times) when you replace the cpu heatsink and fan along with the gpu one for a waterblock dose this not shut down the pc or give you an error message because there is no fan plugged in?

if so is there a way round it

you can go into bios and tel it to ignore it not having a fan plugged into it or simply put any fan on the header like say the rear exhaust fan.

i never new you could turn it off in the bios and thats the only option i could think but i had seen builds where there was nothing plugged into it and just wanted to know how they got round it

thanks for the info
