Hi :)

I am reasonably new to this site.
Just got bought and installed:
Asus Rampage IV Black Edition AC4
Intel i7 4930K Ivy Bridge-E
I can not get my Corsair Vengeance 16GB DDR3 2400 MHz (4x4) (CMZ16GX3M4A2400C10) to run more than 2133 MHz
If I run 2400MHz on my ram, so I can only run 3900 MHz on my 4930K
Hope that there are some of you brilliant minds who can help me :)

It means that you have to manually set everything up, some of the CPU's wont actually do 2400mhz though dude so its not 100% you will get it to run.

Youll need to set up all of the supporting voltages, Im assuming youre a beginner?

Should also keep in mind the more sticks of ram installed the harder it is to get them all at higher speeds and lower timings. You will also need more volts from the CPUs memory controller.

It does happen sometimes even with 16gb that it won't run @2400mhz if you are unlucky with your CPU. Having said that all 4 of my hexcores have had no problem running the memory @2400mhz. I have used a 4930k and 3970X in the RIVE BE and both had no problem with the memory.

OP if you post some pics of your bios screens then maybe we can see if there is anything obviously wrong.

What we can not do is give you a list of voltages and settings as every CPU is different.

I have a friend who has helped me to overclock my computers until now.
But with the new motherboard, there are many new options, so that he may fold :-( So to overclock a PC is almost completely new to me. So I hope that with your and his help I can get it to run 2400 MHz:-D

Hi
I know i can not show me exactly how my motherboard must be set to the run optimally.
But I could use a few pictures with how your BIOS is set up, so I had little to go on, how many volts the variety of settings around should be having.
I hope you will help me.
How many others have a system close to the same as mine?
