can anyone clarify if this board is E-ATX OR ATX seems that on he OC3D Review that it is E-ATX but on many other websites it is not can anyone clarify for certain???

The form factors refer to the mount holes. Its ATX as far as they go, but it is larger than a 'normal' size ATX board. Get a tape mesure out and find out if it'll fit :P.

Problem is I haven't got the case yet decided to give the antec skeleton a try...wonder if will fit in there???

P.s haven't got the m/board either :-)

ATX Form Factor

One inch greater than standard ATX form factor 12 inch x 10.6 inch (30.5 cm x 26.9 cm).

lol.

Skeleton only takes a standard ATX, if you don't know already.

Chances are that it won't fit as the Skeleton is pretty tightly fit.

fingers crossed will know tommorow but from studying a few pics i think i may be in for a chance it may also depend on where the extra inch is.

Is it widh wise as in from the backplate to the atx power cable or the other way...or both???

yep, width is right.

hmm should be ok then might just stick out each end a little further but can't see it making any difference.

For the love of god, just dont get that case. If you want an open one get the Dimas table.

How is too extreme:confused: The skeleton is the same thing with a huge fan an top, but you can't house watercooling or use large air sinks with the Antec.

BTW you also said that Antec Skeleton is just one choice for a case.

Any other cases in mind?

Gah! Gotta get some sleep.

anything simlar but nothing that looks like a bench table something alittle melower but anything wich is neat and compact.

*joins in on anti-skeleton intervention*

Neat and compact and you were looking at a Skeleton? That bloody atrocity has a huge footprint and all those exposed cables and plastic will look abysmal.

Why not a nice Lian Li mid tower? A V1110 is a absolutely beautifully simple case.

The thing is I've had loads of towers and just fancy something a little different surely the wires can be hided/neated with a little time, this can't be tat bad surely, seem to be hearing mixed thoughts elsewhere...seems you either love it or hate it....marmite spings to mind LOL

Or you can get that new HAF tower thingy that was reviewed recently.
It will sure as hell fit that larger ATX motherboard :p If you shout something in that case, you almost get an echo back.
